Years ago I lived in Lyons, and though it did not work out for me at that time, I still miss the place and visit every chance I get. I hope someday to return after my responsibilities taking care of my elderly father have ended. I still recall the day I first drove into Lyons from the east, pass the cemetery and into a beautiful tree lined street with well kept homes and then across the river. I know a lot has changed in all those years but Lyons still has the potential to be someplace special.
